Advertising Club Calcutta is the oldest advertising club in India. Established in 1953, it’s a non-profit society that has been catering to the advertising fraternity of Kolkata for the past 60 years.

Championing communication that connects with the consumer, it is a platform that has been encouraging fellowship among the fraternity through a plethora of programmes like debates, corporate quiz shows, media workshops etc.

Advertising Club Calcutta recognises and awards not just creativity or the strategy behind campaigns but the entire communication value chain, leading to consumer connect through innovative events like the Awards and other synergistic 'biggies'.

Today, we are staring at a singular crisis. A crisis so deep that it has shaken the very substratum of our industry. For as professionals, we realize that the Advertising industry in Kolkata has lost its glory. What is even more alarming is that fact that it has stopped attracting the young. And an industry without a great 2nd generation, their passion and their youth, is bound to stagnate. The singular vision therefore, for all of us in the committee, is to discover means to reconnect with this diaspora. Re-engage them and inspire them.
